Birds in the trees
Can you spot him in the center of the picture?
He would appear every night around five and sit in this tree, preening and posing. One of these days when I have two minutes, I'm going to figure out what type of bird he is.
...Or, if you know, could you leave a comment?
The trees budding out with the warm spring temperatures. This is Florida in February! We're just getting this now in Ontario!
All of these photos were again shot and loaded directly from my Nikon P90 and then posted without alteration of any kind.

Florida Greens
It is always so cool to travel and see things that you don't have at home.
I think palm trees are so funny!
The long thick trunks with the rings around and the carrot top of fronds just kill me!
I mean, who in their right mind would have thought up something like that?
....And Spanish moss just grips me with feeling of awe.
I mean, spooky really.
How it hangs off the branches and has no visible roots or method of sustaining itself!
Is it a real thing, or something right out of my imagination?
Palm trees in the park in Palatka and the moss is from Gates Ferry, the St Johns River, both Florida.
