More horses. They're all so unique. Just like us folks!
This beauty was curious!
My Dad got us a pony when I was all of five.
Dinky was his name and he was a Shetland pony.
Friend here was checkin' out the Magnum!
Dinky was a black and white pinto and had stocky legs and a barrel body. A long, flowing mane and tail that I would brush. I can still remember what he felt like under my caressing hand.... Warm with his dense muscles tight and sometimes quivering as if he was dislodging a fly.
I flick my tail in your general direction!
Ever had a Shetland pony? Compact, strong and mean as a rattlesnake if you try to get them to do something they don't want to do! We gave up trying to ride him after awhile and my dad took him back to the person he borrowed him from and got us an old, docile mare that I recall looked much like these two horses.
Dandelions are so pretty!
...Much like Dinky was... Pretty, very striking in appearance and very attractive in the sunshine. Try to bend them to your will though and they're tough and almost impossible to tame!
All of these photos were again shot and loaded directly from my Nikon P90 and then posted without alteration of any kind.
