A Foggy Barn

It's been a few days since I posted a barn and yesterday was maybe not the best day to be out shooting pictures, but oh well!

There I was...

Because the lake is still cold and the air was so warm, yesterday was foggy almost all day.

This field also contributed to the mist because the dirt is still really cold too...

Makes the picture sort of spooky, don't you think?

Happy May 24th: Victoria Day!

All of these photos were again shot and loaded directly from my Nikon P90 and then posted without alteration of any kind.

Since I have such a penchant & love for these old barns ... your picture is absolutely AWESOME! The mist makes it is mysterious ...

Have a lovely week.

Jeesh and I thought it was gray and cold here in BC. Brrrr. We are actually warm and sunny again today.

We have had some sunny bright days but then I'm not so close to the lake here on this side as you are. Your picture is just beautiful. I think we had that black bird with the blue throat at our feeder this evening. Now I'm going to have to look back at your entries to see what it was called.

That is an AWESOME picture! I love the feeling it evokes. I was feeling the need for a barn picture, it had been too long. :-)

AWESOME!!!!

The mist gives the barn and landscape such an ethereal quality. Though the building is substantial, details are obscured and the foundation is completely shrouded in the fog, as if the barn could at any moment disappear into another world.

We've had several good misty morns lately, and Sunday when I got home from work, I took my camera into the yard and captured dewy spider webs and dripping leaves. Haven't downloaded them yet, but I hope they'll be printable!
