Same Market as at Christmas.
Here's a few Spring shots!
We had a thunder storm go through Ontario this morning. Just a couple of claps and some rain. I made it back to the car without getting drenched.
I had thought that the market would be full of puppies, seeing as it was spring, but no puppies. Lots of spring flowers though!
Soft and lovely shades of petunias.
Begonias are some of my favorite plants. I think it's the texture and waxiness that draws me.
I don't know about you, but I'm still afraid of a frost here.
Look at this fresh Ontario asparagus grown not thirty miles from my house! I bought two bunches and can hardly wait to roast it in the oven tonight! My mouth is watering just writing this!
The marvels of the modern age. Ontario produce from last year. Isn't it something how they can store it? Makes you wonder what they do!
Yes, I bought some... One each of Parsley, Basil and Rosemary! They were two dollars a plant! How could I not?
All of these photos were again shot and loaded directly from my Nikon P90 and then posted without alteration of any kind.

What a neat looking market place. We planted asparagus last year and just got our first cutting. Not much yet but it's going to taste great.
Good old Ontario. I don't think you live far from me...we are so fortunate to enjoy fresh produce like that. I love asparagus.
Once again! wonderful photos. the florals are amazing!
Delightful photos and the asparagus looks wonderful.
cool shots we have a great market downtown...love to go down there among the stands and see what is fresh...
I've never had oven roasted asparagus. It does sound wonderful. How lovely all the plants are. We don't plant anything til Memorial Day weekend here. That's the end of May. It's not unusual for us to have frost till then.
Your market looks a lot like ours these days. Very nice produce, and I was at mine this morning picking up organic kale! The asparagus looks a lot like what I bought, too.
oh I love going to the market in the spring and summer. All of the fresh veggies and beautiful flowers....yeah!
What great pictures I love markets like that! Have a wonderful Sunday!
How funny that we both blogged about markets ha ha. I just love markets, everywhere I go I visit the local market.
The flowers are beautiful.
I love markets like this. Everything seems to taste so much better. I have the best recipe for asparagus. We eat it as often as possible.
lovely and wow,
like the facial expression of the man in the market...
