The Birds And The Trees of the St johns River

Birds in the trees




Can you spot him in the center of the picture?


 He would appear every night around five and sit in this tree, preening and posing. One of these days when I have two minutes, I'm going to figure out what type of bird he is.

The trees budding out with the warm spring temperatures. This is Florida in February! We're just getting this now in Ontario!




All of these photos were again shot and loaded directly from my Nikon P90 and then posted without alteration of any kind.

Not sure, but looks like it might be a Least Bittern. It's a Bittern or Heron of some kind. X.

I can't see him well enough to know what he is, but you did have a nice vacation down in Florida. Now we get to enjoy it a little at a time!
