Finally! A sunny day! I could hardly believe what I was seeing as the sun began it's rise over Lake Erie!
You can just barely make out her feeble warm glow to the east.
As the rays caress the ice crystals, the whole world takes on new life.
A new day. A fresh start to January.
One of the benefits of a steel roof.
Nature's diamonds!
Canadian Birch trees! You gotta love them!

That is quite a view you have there. Be careful with those "diamonds". They look lethal.

With views like that, I would ALLLLMOST consider moving northward.
Almost.
Or maybe I'll just be content with visiting your lovely blog. You capture the wonders of nature so much better than my eyes do.
Your photos are beautiful! The sun on the snow is one of the brightest whites there is. Where are my sunglasses? : )
Beautiful pictures of the icicles. Just don't stand under them -or they will become daggers.
Love your pictures. We enjoyed some lovely sunshine today too. Amazing how it makes you feel better.
