A snowy January Sunday in Ontario Canada!
The swirls of frosty white take your breath away, it's so cold!
What do we do?
Why! Go out for a drive to take pictures!
Port Bruce is located on Lake Erie's north shore and is a very small hamlet with only a few hundred houses. There's a couple of trailer parks and is mostly a summer place. We like to drive over and it doesn't matter what season, we'll always find things to look at.
This is the entrance to Catfish Creek from the Lake. High atop those bluffs in that center tree, you'll sometimes catch a pair of Bald Eagles!
Not today though... but we'll keep our eyes peeled!
A close up of the end of the wall.
I could look at ice formations all day long!
Would you have a mind to rent one of these forlorn looking cottages?
Nice in the summer... BRRR! Too cold in the winter!
A buffet of snow cones served at the park today!

The temperature in the room seemed to drop a few degrees as I browsed through those pictures!
Beautiful. You defintely have the eye of an artist. We're expecting our first snow Wednesday night, and I dread it so! Not that I don't love looking at it, but I have to drive in it. Yuck.
I live on the other side of Lake Erie, well not on the shore but maybe a half hour away. I like to visit there in the summer but don't very often see it in the winter. Your pictures are beautiful.
Gorgeous pictures! It's about -10 Celcius here, suddenly I feel warm in comparison! :)
Hello my fellow Canadian and Ontario'n and sharer of Lake Erie. Pictures at our house look much the same...LOL - chilly.
Happy New Year
thanks so much for sharing those pics...I love seeing snow pics. We don't get much here in Virginia...
I WANT SNOWWWW *stamps feet*
Brrrrr..... but still beautiful!
Brrrrrrrr. . . I think I'll stay here in TX even though it does look beautiful. It's freezing here but fortunately no snow or ice. Texans don't handle snow and ice very well. LOL
Thanks for stopping by to visit. I appreciate you kind words. ~ Sarah
Brrr...looks cold but beautiful! I hope you are having a great start to the new year! Enjoy! Coralie
Your snowy photos are wonderful to see! There is very little snow here in NZ, but it really doesn't hurt my feelings!
I can not even imagine how cold that is! Beautiful snowy photos!
