Our New Year's Table

I'm always so jealous of everyone's table scapes and so determined to present one of my own, I proceeded to start with our New Year's setting.
Our table seats eight and because I was only serving four, I thought I'd just do up one and let you all have a peek at it.

So! Here Goes!

Blue is such a frosty and refreshing color and suitable for any winter setting.
Gold for the promises of a New Year.

Silver tinkles with the sparkle of joy.
(Love, by Community. I bought it in 1972 for my 1st marriage.)

Blue Plates: Thompson Pottery.

The red candle our our son bought a previous Christmas.

Bobby, AKA Bearing Christmas gifts

Frank, Oh! A frosty one!

Goblet: King's Crown Thumbprint and Ruby.
Teacup: Royal Winton .. get ready... gold plated!

Pattern 'Golden Age'. Grimwades, Made in England.
Saucer is just 4, 5/8 inches across!

We all had a remarkable time together and once again would like to thank you for sharing our memories on this New Year's Day of 2010!

Lovely Table! I admire anyone who has the energy, desire, and means to get elegant! I'm afreaid we eat too many of our meals seated in the living room in front of the TV.

Your table is adorable. I've always wanted to do a tablescape but I don't have charger plates and every time I find some that I like there either aren't enough or the cost is too high or the washer just quit on me☺
