Natural Art

One of the wonders of winter: Frost.

 

A carpet of frost greeted me this morning. 
We have a black car.




With brilliant red tail lights



The sky was so blue and reflected in the car's clear coat.

 

Was beginning to melt with the heat of the sun




Art in nature!

These photos are incredible. I have never lived where there is much frost or snow, but I remember seeing pictures in school of what it looked like microscopically and finding it hard to understand how it could look like that. You excellent photos make it so clear. Thanks for sharing.

Oh my gosh those are amazing shots. They look scientific. Like things growing and changing in a petrie dish.
I couldn't figure out what the red was until I finished reading it.
