The Storm

I thought I'd let you see what the weather was like here today!

As you can see, we had a beautifully sunny day , but with a terribly cold east wind.

We went for a drive over to Port Bruce and I took some snaps of the front out over Lake Erie. This is what your storm looked like on my side!

Looking directly south over the cliff, just to the west of Port Bruce.

These two are sort of South, but more Eastward. You can see the line of dark clouds just above the water.

A little floater.... Warn the Titanic!
I took these with my Nikon P90 Digital Camera and they are downloaded and posted without any alteration.

I remember that we drove alongside Lake Erie on our cross country trek, and I was amazed at how large it was! Nice photos.

Love your pics, BUT I LOVE THE BARNS ... that is about $5,000.00 worth of paint to cover a barn ... my friend just did painted her barn. I love barns & you so captured the heart of these beautifully.

TY for sharing ... made my day as we DUG OUT of 30" of that gorgeous flaky white stuff, all day long. More coming Tues/Weds ... YIPPEE!!

Beautiful pictures! I really like the series of barn photos below! Both of my parents were raised on large farms, so I've always had a fondness for old barns! What a shame, most around us have been torn down! The ones you photographed show so much character! Thanks for sharing them! :) ~Rhonda

Great pictures. Somehow the lake just isn't as appealing to me in the winter time though. I do love it in the summer.

Glad to see I found my way back to your blog. Unfortunately, I had your less updated blog in my reader and have since updated it to include your current blog so as to keep up with your antics...LOL

As for the conversation hearts... beep me?!? I think it may be a techo term for the new generation of gadget geeks. Perhaps something like "text me".

It's amazing what sort of conversation you can garner from a single box of conversation hearts... great fun indeed.

I hadn't been down to Port in FOREVER and I love the pics.

I love your water shots. I live in Santa Barbara so I can very much relate to water in storms and such. I never seem to show off the water quite as wonderfully as you just did.
