Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder

So much artwork is simply ignored or just overlooked in our busy days that are swamped with trying to make ends meet.

Folks are always looking for affordable things to hang on their walls and if you have imagination, it's not too terribly difficult.

Sometime when you're driving by a thrift shop, drive on in and for a few dollars you can find some of the most unique and diverse artwork imaginable!

An art deco palm tree!
I find the graphics truly remarkable!

Some greenery in blue!
Who's hiding behind that jungle leaf?

Frame the whole cover of some vintage sheet music!
The colors would likely work in many homes today!

Or... Just take a tiny portion and photocopy it.

Enlarging a detail!

Use it to transfer to a pillow cover too!
There's tons of kits on the market!

Art is all around us! We should never live without it.

You are really having fun with that camera! I do like the closeups a lot, especially the sheet music. And I'll tell Mikey he's got an admirer of his knees!

I so agree with you. Art is a big part of my life and enjoy it fully.

I REALLY LIKE the Blue Pacific Moon poster. I would definetly hang that in my house. And I never thought of framing sheet music. We probably have enough to wall paper a room : ) My hubby plays and teaches piano, so he has stacks and stacks of it.

You are getting to be a whiz with that camera. Some of the best pictures I have seen. Thanks for reminding me about the give away. I have not felt well for several days and computer troubles too and just not able to get around to all the blogs I want to visit. You are such a dear and faithful visitor. thanks so much for the tip.
